A Web 2.0 Resource for Librarians and Teachers

We have just started a History project in our 11th grade classes, replacing the cardboard poster assignment for the causes of WW I with a Glogster digital poster

The education account is useful – each student has his own url which is linked to the teachers account.   Embedding teacher-tube videos and encouraging them to make comments on each other’s work makes it more of a social networking experience.  I’ll include a couple of the WW I glogs when they are done.

This is just a snapshot of a digital poster,  so it does not capture the animated features that make digital poster so engaging.   I’ll work on getting some links so you can see some “live” digital posters from glogster.

Have you used glogster? How? If not – what are some other ways you think Glogster could be used in schools?

Click on comment below and let us know. Thanks!
